Der italienische Winzer Filippo Pozzi, aufgewachsen am Comer See im Piemont, gründete 2019 das Weingut Atlasland im westlichen Algarve nahe Aljezur, nachdem er zuvor klassisch in Bordeaux ausgebildet wurde und Erfahrung in Pauillac sowie im Napa Valley sammelte. Er bewirtschaftet kleine, teils über hundert Jahre alte Rebparzellen biologisch und keltert naturnah in Edelstahltanks, alten Holzfässern und traditionellen italienischen Damigiane-Glasballons.
