Cascina Adelaide wurde im Jahr 2000 von Amabile Drocco am Fusse der mittelalterlichen Burg von Barolo gegründet und bewirtschaftet heute 12 Hektar Reben, davon 10 Hektar Nebbiolo da Barolo, verteilt auf acht historische Crus. Im Weinberg wird auf Herbizide verzichtet und die Lese erfolgt von Hand, im Keller kommen spontane Vergärung mit ortsansässigen Hefen und nur minimale Schwefelzugaben zum Einsatz.
