Die Trauben stammen überwiegend aus Parzellen der Wairau-Ebene mit steinigen, sandigen und gut drainierenden Böden. Nach der Kaltklärung wurde der Most überwiegend in Edelstahltanks vergoren; rund 1,8 % reiften beziehungsweise vergoren in grossen Holzfässern, ein Teil mit Wildhefen. Für die Cuvée wurden 61 von 80 Partien ausgewählt. Der Jahrgang zeigt Pfirsich, Holunderblüte, Makrut-Limette und Zitrone, am Gaumen Zitronencreme, weisse Nektarine, salzige Noten, straffe Säure und einen eleganten Abgang.
